Some cases are tried in the Crown Court, and you may find your case sent there If you are charged with a serious offence, or choose to have your trial heard by a jury.
We will instruct a barrister on your behalf from chambers in London, primarily 2 Harcourt Buildings and 2 Kings Bench Walk. We always ensure that you are represented by an advocate who is matched in knowledge and experience to your case. If you have a particular barrister or advocate you want to represent you we will always be happy to discuss this with you and instruct them where possible and appropriate.
We also have a team of lawyers and caseworkers who are dedicated to preparing your case to the highest level. You will have meetings with them and your advocate to discuss the evidence and your instructions. Your caseworker or lawyer will ensure that your case is prepared to the highest standard.
Should your case go to the Court of Appeal, this team will continue to represent you and support you, and to ensure that your advocate is fully prepared for hearing to achieve the best result for you.
